Activities such as socializing with friends, old and new, attending religious services, art classes, computer classes, gardening classes, and taking van trips enrich our residents’ quality of living. All of our activities are geared toward maintaining independence and a high quality of living for each resident.

Cypress Point Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Earns 2025 National Quality Award
The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) today announced the recipients of the 2025 Silver – Achievement in Quality Award. The program recognizes long term and post-acute care facilities that meet progressively rigorous standards of performance to further improve the lives of their residents and staff.
Cypress Point Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Earns 2024 National Quality Award
(Bossier City, LA – July 16, 2024) Cypress Point Nursing & Rehabilitation Center has been recognized as a 2024 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award recipient earning national honors for their commitment to continuous quality improvement and their dedication to their residents. The distinction is the first of three progressive award levels through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program. The National Quality Award Program by the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) recognizes providers across the country that have demonstrated their commitment to delivering quality care for seniors and persons with disabilities.
“This national recognition is a testament to the exceptional care we provide in a homelike, safe environment,” said Cypress Point Administrator Cliff Hatcher. “Earning this prestigious award is a tribute to our team’s pursuit of excellence.”
Implemented by AHCA/NCAL in 1996, the National Quality Award Program is centered on the core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, which is the foundation of the metric-based AHCA/NCAL Quality Initiative.
“I applaud Cypress Point Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for earning the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award, said Mark Berger, executive director of the Louisiana Nursing Home Association (LNHA). “This remarkable recognition speaks to their tireless efforts and steadfast dedication to providing quality patient care.”
Cypress Point, along with several other Central Management facilities, partnered with Dream Flights to honor our residents who bravely served our country with the adventure of a lifetime: a flight in a Boeing Stearman biplane, the same aircraft used to train many military aviators in the late thirties and early forties.

In April of 2023, we hosted an open house and ribbon cutting of our brand new state-of-the-art facility. This was a very special and memorable day, and we look forward to many more years of offering the best care possible to our residents!
